In this year’s Budget, the Chancellor of the Exchequer confirmed the introduction of T-Levels from Autumn 2019. Yet many education providers and LEPs freely confess that they just aren’t on their radar at the moment.
We wrote in TES a few months ago about how successful preparation for T-Levels needs to begin with mapping the T-Level routes to labour market demand. Following that piece West Yorkshire Colleges Consortium have taken the idea and applied it to their own situation, which you can read about here.
We have produced a short PDF which explains how we can help you prepare for T-Levels by:
- Identifying the occupations each T-Level relates to
- Mapping those occupations to demand in your local labour market
- Checking whether current curriculum is fit for purpose
Or if you prefer something more visual, here is a short video which explains the process:
T-Levels will be here in 2019. If you would like to discuss how we can help you prepare, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
