So far in our series looking at Middle Skills data, we have covered Britain, Scotland, North West, North East, Yorkshire and the Humber and Wales (we are defining Middle Skills as Professional Occupations, Administrative and Secretarial Occupations, Associate Professional and Technical Occupations, and Skilled Trades Occupations at educational levels 3-7).
Moving on, we come to the West Midlands. According to our data:
- There are currently 943,406 Middle Skills jobs in the region
- This is set to rise to around 953,203 jobs by 2018
- The number of Middle Skills jobs in the West Midlands is therefore expected to grow by 9,797 over the next three years
