We now come to the final part of our series looking at graduate level jobs throughout the country, having so far covered Britain as a whole, South West, South East, East of England, East Midlands, West Midlands, Wales, Scotland, North West, North East and London.
In this piece we turn to Yorkshire and the Humber. In terms of the general picture for the region, the figures for graduate level occupations are as follows:
- There are currently around 620,861 graduate level occupations in Yorkshire and the Humber
- This looks set to rise to approximately 631,753 positions by 2018 — an increase of just over 10,892 jobs
- In terms of openings, the region should see about 29,029 graduate level openings per year from 2015-2018
As for where the jobs themselves are likely to be, the graph below shows the Top 15 graduate level occupations in terms of annual openings over the next three years:
