Wind back the clock 12 months and you would find an EMSI UK team which consisted of just two people. As our presence in the country grew throughout the course of 2013, particularly within the FE sector, the two became four and the four then became six. Now, as we begin a new year and find ourselves partnering with more than 80 colleges throughout the country, it is once again time for the team to expand with the addition of another two new starters.
Introducing Andy Liddell
Andy joins us as Business Development Manager for the Midlands Region. Andy’s background has mainly concentrated on strategic marketing consultancy and business/consumer analytical profiling. He has worked with a number of high profile customers, including international brands such as Mercedes Benz, Mazda Motors, Honda, Inter Milan, UPS, Philips Consumer Electronics and Roca.
For the last ten years, Andy has worked exclusively within further education, initially as a regional director for the largest recruitment agency within the sector, and then as an independent consultant. Andy brings a vast array of sector knowledge and experience to EMSI, which we hope can be harnessed to support, develop and enhance the EMSI customer base across the Midlands.
Andy is married and has three children and one grandchild.
Introducing Dave Wakefield
Dave joins us as Client Services Manager for the Southern Region. Graduating from Heythrop College in 2011 with a degree in philosophy, Dave then spent two years working for a church in Mayfair, and the past four months working in the Medieval Library and Archives at Salisbury Cathedral where he oversaw the first stage of the digitisation of the library.
As Client Services Manager, Dave’s focus will be on training, implementation and help desk support across the complete EMSI product range for customers in the South. He is based in London.
The Future’s Bright
The addition of Andy and Dave to the team is an exciting development for EMSI’s UK operation, being a sign both of the growth of the company in the country, and of our determination to serve our customers well by giving them all the support they need. With Andy developing new business throughout the Midlands, and Dave servicing existing clients in the South, we believe we are well set to achieve our goals of getting our data and tools out there to organisations who need them, and of blessing our existing customers with the service that their investment into our products deserves.
