How do you align your curriculum and courses to meet the needs of the labour market? EMSI economist Hamilton Galloway will be offering a series of master classes exploring the importance of labour market data in this area. The classes are offered in conjunction with City & Guilds Advance and are aimed at Curriculum Leaders and Heads of Department to help them incorporate data into their decision-making.
The three classes cover an Introduction to Labour Market Information, Identifying courses linked to ‘In-Demand’ occupations, and finally, focus group sessions that will help bring the concepts into practical use.
All three classes will be taught at three events in three different cities. An event will be held in Warrington on July 16, Wakefield on July 17 and London on July 24. All events will be held in the City and Guilds regional offices. The cost for one event is £199.00 per attendee.
Decision-making requires knowledge of all the factors at play. In preparing students for the workforce, knowledge of the actual labour market is absolutely crucial.
