We are pleased to announce that we have made Equifax business-level data accessible within Analyst. This data is available on a subscription basis and allows you to access company-specific contact data to support your marketing and targeting activities. In addition, we are able to supply supporting information from Equifax including, employee counts and turnover. You can either export the Equifax data in spreadsheet form or use it within Analyst, which can be accessed when running industry reports for your selected SIC code(s).
What is Equifax business data?
Equifax is a leading global credit referencing company and has a wide range of data products. The Equifax database holds more than 3.4 million records for the UK, taken from a range of data sources including Companies House, law courts, legal registers and direct contact (telephone surveys).
Equifax data does not feed into EMSI’s underlying labour market dataset, so in that sense, it is not a data update. But it is designed to add further value to your exploration of local employment trends. For example, Analyst can help you understand which occupations are driving employment growth in an industry, and therefore which courses you should be promoting to the industry. Now, with Equifax data, you can download contact information for local employers in that industry, which you can use to drive your marketing campaign. This data can help you connect with your local economy and respond appropriately to labour market needs.
Pricing for the Equifax data is based on access at government office region level, and is charged on a per annum basis (alligned to your Analyst subscription dates).
