Better late than never! Our latest newsletter is out, full of news and our responses to various developments in the FE sector.
The big event in this issue is the user group at Wigan and Leigh College on May 13th. One of the best ways to learn how to use Analyst and Career Coach is to hear the experiences of colleagues across the sector and to share your own. We will also be presenting some interesting case studies of colleges who have met success with their use of the tools.
Also in the newsletter is our response to Lord Heseltine’s report No Stone Unturned in Pursuit of Growth and the first featuring of Hamilton Galloway in City & Guilds’ Construction Newsletter. Walsall College gets the award for being the first general FE college to be awarded the Ofsted grade of outstanding under the new regime. We also give a quick overview of carpenters and joiners after the occupation was highlighted by the National Careers Service.
Career Coach is certainly making a big impression among FE colleges. Included in the newsletter are examples of its use at Burton and South Derbyshire College and Chichester College.
You will also find the latest post in our series using Analyst to identify regional specialisms around the nation.
